We are proud to be preferred providers for HCF and Smile.com.au. Smile.com.au incorporates Australian Unity, GMHBA, Frank, MyOwn, HealthCare, health.com.au, AIA Health Insurance and PeopleCare.

In general, we recommend that you visit us every six months for a routine cleaning and checkup to ensure your oral health is in good shape and to address any problems. You may need to visit us sooner for additional treatments as everyone’s needs are different.

We will always accept and welcome you back! You will have the opportunity to improve your dental health no matter how long you’ve been away. With our help, we can bring it back to track.

Children as young as two years of age can be seen to have their baby teeth checked. At this age, we can usually only do an examination but it’s good to bring the child in so they get used to going to the dentist. It is always a good idea to bring children along with older siblings. This will show them that the dentist’s office is a happy and safe place. Our experience has shown that we can perform a complete check-up and cleaning on children as young as 3 years.

All health funds are accepted! We have an HICAPS terminal, which allows us to process claims on the spot!

We recommend you contact your insurance provider to get specific information about your policy. All policies differ and dental coverage can be different. Our HICAPS terminal can provide quotes for specific treatment plans. However, your insurance provider is the best person to ask about specific policy entitlements.

Your Dentist Hawthorn is compassionate and understanding of everyone’s financial situation. We work with Humm to assist you with an interest free payment plan. Talk to our staff to see if you are eligible.

Our dental clinic has a great location. Our front door is accessible by wheelchair ramps. Our interiors have been designed to provide a turning circle in each of our clinical rooms for wheelchairs. Onsite, there are also bathrooms that are accessible to people with disabilities.

Our team will often ask you what specifically makes you nervous. Perhaps you have a phobia of needles, or don’t like being laid too far back… those types of things we can accommodate with ease! We will work with you to make you as comfortable as possible. Our aim is to provide exceptional care by working at your pace and taking everything slow. We will not undertake any treatment that you are not ready for.
